Description:

Description:  Freshwater pearls come from a mussel, which has a hinged shell, allowing the creature to open and close.  While the outside of the mollusk is yellowish brown, the inside is coated with a pearl lining.  The lustrous finish ranges from pearl white to iridescent colors that take your breath away.  Our freshwater pearl is unique in shape and size, and the finish displays undertones of pink, melon and lavender.  There is a smaller peach pearl which grew naturally on the "shoulder" of the larger one. We have paired it with a faceted pink tourmaline for sparkle.  It is appropriate to mention that I have only a small number of these beauties.

The seventh chakra is called the crown chakra.  It is symbolized by a lotus flower with a thousand petals resembling  a crown.  In this chakra, bodily concerns are left behind and the focus of energy resides in the space just above the head.  It is interesting to note that the seventh chakra hovers in the same area as a halo.  Considered to be the gateway to the universe, the crown chakra holds our desire to reach beyond our physical selves in the search for our creator and true enlightenment.
