Description:  Freshwater pearls come from a mussel, which has a hinged shell, allowing the creature to open and close.  While the outside of the mollusk is yellowish brown, the inside is coated with a pearl lining.  The lustrous finish ranges from pearl white to iridescent colors that take your breath away.  Our freshwater pearl is unique in shape and size, and the finish displays undertones of pink, melon and lavender.  A tiny garnet sits atop each pearl to create a delicate, feminine earring with a lusterous glow that frames the face beautifully.  They make for perfect crown chakra jewels.
